I entered Kearny High as the first Freshman Class in 1923 in the new school and would have been in the June class of 1927. I had to drop out to work and later graduated from Pace University. The pool wasn't finished yet when they moved us into the school. I lived in Kearny with my wife Ruth until 1996 when we moved to Brick. Ruth passed away in November of 2000, just short of our 65th wedding anniversary. I like to keep busy and spend time with my 2 daughters. I celebrated my 96th birthday in June of 2005 and moved to South Carolina with Susan and her husband Ray.
